We have determined that our online store Seven Stars online store, “SEVEN STARS Gallery” (https://nanatsuboshi-gallery.jp) might have received an unauthorized access causing a leakage of personal information including credit card information.

As a result, we were informed that personal information such as name, address, post code, phone number, FAX number, sex, date of birth, email address, occupation, encrypted password, encrypted personal secret question, might have been leaked. However, credit card information was not leaked for those based outside of Japan (due to a different payment system than those in Japan).

We sincerely apologize to our customers for causing this trouble.
Also, we apologize for taking time to report this situation due to the fact that the investigation was taking place in order to identify the threat.

Currently are sending e-mail and letters (those based in Japan) to those who were possibly affected by the leak.

We take this case seriously, and will continue to implement countermeasures to prevent the recurrence of such matters, by increasing security measures, and by strengthening the monitoring of our systems.
